Afrobeat singer and songwriter King Promise celebrated the best birthday ever after getting the gift of watching Chelsea play Arsenal at the Emirates in London.

King Promise, born Gregory Bortey Newman, turned 26 on August 16, 2021, and he got the biggest surprise from his colleague musician and best friend Mr. Eazi.

Mr. Eazi surprised King Promise with a box ticket to watch a football match between Chelsea and Arsenal live at the Emirates Sports Stadium.

The birthday boy posted a photo on twitter capturing himself and Mr. Eazi enjoying the match from their box.

King Promise thanked Mr. Eazi for getting him a box ticket for the match on Sunday and expressed that he never expected to receive that treat.

The CCTV hitmaker described the experience as the ‘best birthday’ present ever, adding that his day was made complete when the Blues schooled Arsenal at the Emirates.

“best birthday present. Box tickets to watch Chelsea school Arsenal! Preciate it my g’ Mr. Eazi,” he posted on Twitter.

Mr. Eazi also shared a photo where the two artistes got a customised Arsenal Jersey from the stadium.

The Nigerian Afrobeat superstar exposed King Promise that he is a die hard Arsenal fan but pretends to be a Chelsea fan because some of his friends play for the team and also they won the game.

King Promise was recently spotted with Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech, who was jamming to the musician’s hit songs.

He also hosted Hudson Odoi when the player came to Ghana for a holiday.

King Promise has been in London working on his upcoming project since they traveled to London for the Ghana Party in the Park.
