KIM Kardashian has been called out by fans after viewing the star’s recent social media post.
The Hulu star used Taylor Swift’s song Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) in her latest Instagram Story.
On Saturday, Kim celebrated her 43rd birthday by sharing several photos on her Stories posted by friends and family.
However, one post in particular grabbed the attention of Taylor fans – also known as the Swifties.
In a throwback from July, The Kardashians star shared a photo from Liz Woods.
In the picture, Kim showed off her pearly whites while wearing a Dolce and Gabbana purple gown as she attended a lavish event in Italy.
Her elegant attire gave off Speak Now vibes as Taylor wore a similar dress on the cover of her sophomore album – which fans called her out on.
The dress draped off the Skims founder’s shoulders and even included a long puffy train that followed Kim for several feet.
Kim then added Taylor’s song, Speak Now, which could be heard while viewing her story.
The TV personality’s post made it onto a popular X – formerly known as Twitter – account, where users bashed Kim and claimed that she was “jealous” of Taylor’s fame and wanted “attention” on her birthday.
‘DEFINITELY JEALOUS’
Fans shared their brutally honest thoughts on Kim using Taylor’s song – especially after their years-long feud.
“She’s definitely jealous of all the media attention taylor has been getting lol,” one wrote, “She’s desperate to have her name trending for her birthday.”
Taylor has gained even more worldwide success with her Eras World Tour as well as her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player, Travis Kelce.
“She knew exactly what she was doing when she did this,” said another, “Just look at the buzz it’s creating already.”
“I’m happy she’s changed but there’s no taking back her making taylor’s life a living hell for years,” a third wrote.
A fourth said: “Clout chaser Kim. She wants attention or what?”
TAYLOR VS KANYE
Their drama all started when Kanye interrupted Taylor’s speech at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009.
Taylor – who was 19 at the time – won the Best Female Video award for You Belong With Me.
As she began making her speech, Kanye infamously stormed the stage, grabbing the microphone out of a stunned Taylor’s hand.
He said: “Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had the best one of the best videos of all time… one of the best videos of all time!”
In February 2016, Kanye released his infamous track, Famous.
The song includes a line: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b***h famous.”
Kanye claimed that Taylor knew about the lyric and gave him her consent to use it and even had his now ex-wife, Kim, released a video of a phone call between the pop singer and Kanye about the track.
Taylor hit back, saying that she had consented to the first part of the line but not the part where Kanye used the word b***h.
Songs on Taylor’s albums Reputation and Lover seemingly reference their feud.
KIM VS TAYLOR
Kim continued to dig her metaphorical claws into the feud, telling GQ that Taylor had given Kanye her full blessing over the Famous lyrics.
She said: “She totally approved that; she wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t.”
“I swear, my [ex] husband gets so much s**t for things [when] he was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”
In December 2017, Kim reignited the feud after posting a throwback snap of the singer’s naked wax lookalike, which appeared in Kanye’s Famous exhibition and video.
She posted the picture of Kanye’s controversial art exhibit from 2016, which featured a lookalike of the singer in bed alongside Kim, Kanye, and a host of other big names.
Kim captioned the picture: “Famous.”
After Kim posted the snap online, she was inundated with comments from Taylor’s fans accusing her of picking on the singer.
They went on to fill Kim’s comments with thousands of rat emojis.
Taylor appeared to hit back just 24 hours later, posting a picture of herself from her new Vogue shoot.
She wrote next to the picture: “I never trust a narcissist, but they love me…”
‘FOUR YEARS OF HELL’
In March 2020, the full conversation between Taylor and Kanye was leaked online and Taylor sent out a statement.
In an Instagram Story, Taylor wrote: “Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family and fans through hell for 4 years)…SWIPE UP to see what really matters.”
The Blank Space singer provided fans with a link to donate to the World Health Organization and Feeding America during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
One day later, Kim sent out a statement saying: “To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that ‘Kanye never called to ask for permission…’ They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word ‘b***h’ was used without her permission.”
