Spokesperson for Kennedy Agyapong, Lawyer Charles Amoh Dartey, says the motive for their campaign is not to incite the delegates against the party, rather communicate their contribution to the New Patriotic Party.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Lawyer Dartey stated that intention for campaigning is to make known of their hardwork and the positive impact Kennedy Agyapong seeks to have on the lives of the people when he becomes the next President of Ghana under the NPP.

If you go to meet delegates and tell them of your intention to make their businesses thrive, is that inciting them against the party. When you meet delegates and inform them of the cardiothoracic and dialyses center you are putting up at 37 military hospital, is that you instigating them.
When you tell them of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital failing to continue operating a machine at their oncology department, due to end of contract which compelled Ken Akompreko to sign over $145,000 to a Sweden company to have it fixed by their agent, or telling them of the things he has done for the party since 1992 till date.
