Kennedy Agyapong Was Not Part Of NPP Businessmen Who Bought Pickup Trucks- Abronye
Before the New Patriotic Party (NPP) won the 2016 general elections, businessmen excluding Kennedy Agyapong contributed financially to buy the party pickup trucks, Kwame Baffoe Abronye has revealed.
The omission of Kennedy Agyapong according to the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP could easily be verified from the records of the party.
“He has never bought pickups for the party, if he says he has, he is a liar”, he said.
Abronye singled out the late NPP Central regional Chairman, Kutin, for praise by stating that he singlehandedly bought 130 pickup trucks.
In a telephone interview with Gordon Asare-Bediako on Movement TV, Kwame Baffoe Abronye revealed that Kennedy Agyapong only acted as mediator to facilitate the shipment of the pickup trucks from America to Ghana to be used by the party.
“Kennedy Agyapong hasn’t bought any pickup truck for the NPP. In 2016, it was rather businessmen who contributed to buy the pickups for the party. He just run an errand for the party to bring the cars in”, he said.
