Kennedy Agyapong Financed And Encouraged A-Plus To Insult President Akufo-Addo- Abronye
The Bono regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, has accused Kennedy Agyapong of spurring A-Plus to disrespect former President Akufo-Addo and his appointees.
In a telephone interview with Gordon Asare-Bediako on Movement TV, Abronye stated that Kennedy Agyapong once called him to question him for defending President Akufo-Addo against Kwame A-Plus.
“He called me to query me why I am defending Nana Addo when A-Plus was insulting him”, he said.
“He asked me if I have benefitted from Nana Addo. He said A-Plus was saying the truth so I should allow him continue with his insults on Nana Addo”, he added.
But a defiant Abronye disclosed that he stood his grounds and told Kennedy Agyapong that he wouldn’t sit down and watch A-Plus destroy the NPP by attacking Akufo-Addo.
“I told him that there was no way I will sit down helplessly for A-Plus to destroy NPP”, Abronye said.
Financing A-Plus to parliament
A-Plus managed to enter parliament as an independent candidate because he received huge financial support from Kennedy Agyapong, Abronye said.
According to Abronye, Kennedy Agyapong, chose to support A-Plus over his NPP’s parliamentary candidate for Gomoa Central.
“He later financed A-Plus as independent candidate to contest against the party’s official candidate at Gomoa Central”, he said.
