A squadron of TV and Radio hosts have served notice to Mr. Kennedy Agyapong to stop his supporters from heckling and destroying the reputation of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Daasebre Adjei Dwamena directly called on Kennedy Agyapong to speak to his supporters to stop doing silly things in his name.
“He is an elder of the party and must stop his people from using his name to do silly things”, he said on the Movement in the Morning political show.
Gordon Asare Bediako also called on core supporters of Dr Bawumia to be battle ready and prepare to respond to certain issues that designed to denigrate the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party.
“Primaries hasn’t started but they should respond”, the veteran journalist chipped in.
He was of the view that the impending presidential NPP primary was going to be “boot for boot”, “mouth to mouth” and “stomach to stomach”.
From his view, certain people pretended to support Bawumia in 2024 during the national election with a clear intention to destroy him.
“People pretended to support Bawumia for the 2024 election so that when he loses it will pave way for them to take charge as flagbearer”, he said.
Kwaku Dawuro also contributed to the discussion by urging Dr. Bawumia to stand firm and respond squarely to people who create trouble for him.
“Don’t wait until the primaries are up. They did it to Akufo-Addo and it didn’t make him attractive for the elections. Arthur kennedy was one of those doing that. The things done against Bawumia to make him unattractive were done by Kennedy Agyapong. His voice was used as campaign message against Bawumia on TV”, he said.
