The National Women’s Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), madam Kate Gyamfua, has shared her story of how the erstwhile NDC government destroyed her mining company including stealing her equipment.
The NPP woman touted her expertise in the mining field but stated that as soon as the NDC won power between 2008 and 2016, they “stole” part of her mining concession and used state power to abuse her.
Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, madam Kate Gyamfua revealed that “I have been mining for 30 years, that is job I have done all my life…When NDC came to power, they took over some of my concession. They took my equipment and burnt others belonging to other NPP members.”
She challenged the NDC to make public their stance on the issue of galamsey.
