A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on all defeated candidates to rally behind the Parliamentary candidate elects to ensure that the party emerges victorious in the 2024 elections.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Show with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV, he quoted former President Kufuor’s statement which said, it is better to be a messenger in a ruling government than a secretary in an opposition party. This, he explained is the reason for which the rank and file of the party must ensure that they campaign vigorously for the party.
“Look at Asiedu Nketia today, although he’s the National chairperson for a major party like NDC, he’s not relevant. It’s for this reason that he’s always through tantrums. Let’s all take a clue from this and act wise”, he said.
