Mr. Kwabena Agyapong has decried the unethical way Joy FM’s Evans Mensah twisted his ‘fufu’ story to create disaffection for him within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The former NPP General Secretary told viewers of Wontumi TV that the interview he granted the journalist on that faithful day didn’t represent or tell the exact story he (Evans Mensah) published.
Mr. Agyapong claimed he had no idea he was even being recorded by the journalist- a move he classifies as “unethical”.
Joy FM’s Evans Mensah reached out to Mr. Agyapong during his time in office to ask him about a Steering Committee meeting only to report that the former NPP scribe told them that “Tell them, I am eating fufu in Kumasi. I don’t know anything about this meeting”.
But Mr. Agyapong claims out of the long conversation he had with Evans Mensah, “he used the fufu part to create an image I don’t care about the party and I am not a humble person.”
He however noted that he has left the issue to God to judge.
