The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe Abronye, has described the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress as “Satanic”.
Speaking on a show dubbed Nsempa Fie on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the NPP Chairman stated that Mr. John Mahama is a “satanic” candidate voters shouldn’t trust.
According to him, Mr. Mahama failed to revive industries which could have gainfully employed and made profit for the nation when he was President and for that reason, should not be trusted when he talks about supporting industries during his tour.
Kwame Baffoe Abronye cited the shutdown of the West African Mills Company (WAMPCO) during the tenure of former President John Mahama and indicated that it took President Akufo-Addo to restore the factory which was completely out of business.
It would be recalled that under former President John Mahama, 3 workers of WAMPCO, died through a car crash on their way to parliament to hear the Finance Minister’s response to the closure of the Cocoa Processing Company.
And according to Abronye, Mr. Mahama did nothing about the situation until President Akufo-Addo came to office.
“It took President Akufo-Addo to revive the factory and today they are making 2 million dollars as profit”, he said.
