The deputy General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, has challenged former President John Mahama to raise the bar through the way he talks and carries himself.
Speaking on the State of Ghana show on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Movementtvonline.com, the NPP stalwart advised handlers of the former President to up their game by telling him “to raise the bar”.
Nana Obiri Boahen’s caution comes on the back of a demeaning statement which has been attributed to Mr. Mahama following his interaction with the clergy some few days ago.
Former President John Mahama is reported to have told the respected clergy that he is happy that the “rowdy scene” in Parliament over e-levy, has finally woken their “consciences”.
But Nana Obiri Boahen is of the view the comment wasn’t right.
