Jekora Ventures Limited (JVL), established in the year 2003, is a 100% Ghanaian-owned limited liability private company. From humble beginnings, in cleaning lorry parks and markets JVL has within the last 10 years grown to become the leading innovating waste management company trailblazing waste valorization in Ghana.
Some of their novel initiatives include the Waste Separation at Source, Recycling of paper and plastic, compost & briquette production, all supported with positive attitudinal change stimulants like public education and sanitation sensitization campaigns in the electronic media space.
Operating within Korle Klottey, Adentan, Weija-Gbawe, and Yilo Krobo Municipal Assemblies, JVL is implementing low-cost appropriate technology solutions backed by several years of research, thus interfacing between academia and business to commercialize products of research through Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) for sustainable development.
Through arduous efforts, JVL has perfected and successfully piloted circular economic models which when upscaled and replicated across the country will radically transform the delivery of waste management services from an expenditure item in the government budget into a revenue-generating self-sustaining production /commercial enterprise, self-regulated by fundamental principles of economic market forces.
It is JVL’s vision to be the leading integrated waste management and resource recovery company Improving Ghana’s environment and public health with a positive impact on the SDGs.
