As a master of the game, Mr. John Boadu, has offered to school candidates who have filed their nominations to battle for the General Secretary position on how the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Council is composed.
He pointed out on Wontumi TV that majority of the candidates who have put themselves out to contest him for the General Secretary position, don’t have the “skill” and “understanding” on how to compose the National Council.
He insisted that it would be erroneous on the part of the party to present new faces to lead them into the 2024 elections.
“Are we going to repeat that mistake? We will be changing our flagbearer, running mate, National Chairman, National Organizer, Treasurer, Youth Organizer but you only have the General Secretary who wants to be maintained and he knows the road very well”, he said.
He therefore questioned the delegates of the party if they would be happy to go in for a fresh candidate who doesn’t even know how to compose the National Council of the party.
“Would you go in for a new General Secretary? When would you even know how to compose the national council?” he asked.
Six people have filed their nominations to battle for the General Secretary position of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in what appears to be a contest between the incumbent John Boadu and any of the other five candidates.
Those challenging Mr Boadu for the position are Justin Kodua Frimpong, Musah Iddrisu Superior, Frederick Opare Ansah, Charles O. Bissue and Ramseyer Agyeman-Prempeh.
