Speaking on the Wontumi TV Morning Show, he expressed his distrust of the IGP, stating that he had never trusted him.
“I have never believed and trusted Dampare and he is so smart that he bribed most ofthe media houses and men. I was shocked and couldn’t believe why the IGP came out with a statement before the election that his men will not be armed at the polling stations and during the electoral process, that was the very day I smelled our defeat”
He further claimed that the NPP lost many parliamentary seats due to security failures, which he believes were orchestrated by the IGP’s directive.
The IGP’s directive had been intended to prevent intimidation and ensure a peaceful electoral process. However, Lawyer Adomako Baafi’s allegations suggest that the directive have been manipulated by the NDC to their advantage.
