Rufftown Princess Wendy Shay has suddenly developed a profound love for God and has expressed her dedication to evangelizing the word of God.
Speaking on Okay FM about the transition of her music career, the “All For You” singer revealed that she went through a massive spiritual awakening after moving to Ghana. She claims she was an atheist but some dark things happened to her while out in the “world”, and it took the grace of God to save her.
According to her, most of the songs on her new album were inspired by God. “I’m in a level where I really trust God entirely. He has shown me his grace and his power. I love to talk about him more than I used to before because I’ve also gone through a lot and He was the only one who was there for me.”
“I like to bring my fans closer to Jesus Christ, because he is the only way to the Father…We’re living in a very dark world governed by very very dark forces and the only way out, the only light for us to get the peace, that peace that we need is only through Jesus Christ. And so I like to preach because it is a mandate as a child of God…”.
It is so convenient that a clout-chaser like Wendy Shay just so happens to be interested in evangelism around the same time Moesha Buduong is trending for similar reasons.
