The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has given an account of the current status in which the regional party office he promised to build for his party, has reached.
Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV, the NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, disclosed that the building has currently reached the lintel level and he has put in place, plans to complete the project.
He insisted that it was his own sweat and blood that has driven him to erect the building from foundation to lintel level.
Chairman Wontumi assured that after he has completed the project, he would name it after the late Baffour Osei Akoto- a key figure in the NPP.
“I have built the party office to the lintel level. It is my own money and I want to build it and name it after Baffour Akoto. I haven’t taken money from anybody. I bought the land and have the papers”, Chairman Wontumi said.
