Former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen has fired former President John Mahama for his recent attack on the Electoral Commission.
Mahama, who is currently in Nigeria leading the West African Elders Forum (WAEF) to monitor the ongoing elections has made claims in a post on his Facebook page about Nigeria’s elections that he wishes Ghana’s EC “can inspire the same level of confidence in all its stakeholders.”
Nana Obiri Boahen who appeared on Wontumi TV Morning Show asked what is good in the Nigeria election that the nation should emulate?
He said “if John Mahama is saying we should learn something from Nigeria’s election then we should go and seek advice from the Wagner group in Burkina Faso and Mali.
Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen said since John Mahama lost the 2016 and 2020 elections he hasn’t reposed faith in the EC.
He said the NDC leader has created impressions that former EC Bosses, Charlotte Osei and Afari Gyan were God sent and it’s not reasonable.
Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen was furious that if he holds a certain position he would have put Charlotte Osei on trial and jailed by now.
