New Patriotic Party Presidential candidate, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, says it is high time Ghana creates a new dawn of politics for a better democracy.
Voicing out his motives for contesting for presidential seat on Movement In The Morning, with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Kwabena Agyepong stated that Ghana needs new faces and leadership in government, who also have broad knowledge and strategy in practising politics and democracy in order to restore people’s faith in leaders.
” I’m serious about the new dawn in politics because when you check after thirty years, it is time we press the reset button, because the faith Ghana had in democracy and politics has twisted . When you have a look at some of the results of the services i have seen especially the afro barometer service, many people have come to believe that the motive for which politics is practised is not because of their interest.
I have a unique mindset and a strong view that it is time for our country to create a new dawn of politics where democracy and politics is well understood, which is service to the people, for them to have a public spirit and a collegial mentality,” he said.
