Ashanti regional Communication Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwasi Kyei, has aired out members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for questioning the decision by government to build a cathedral for the Lord.
Dr. Kwasi Kyei claims he is completely at sea over the decision by the NDC to oppose the idea of building the national cathedral but silent over the free moneys they (NDC) paid to Mr. Agbesi Woyome.
Addressing the issue on Wontumi TV’s Talk Ghana show, Dr. Kyei castigated the NDC stating that “you people gave Woyome GHC 51.2 million but you have a problem with our decision to use GHC 27 million to build the national cathedral. Go and demolish the cathedral if you don’t like it”.
He asked Ghanaians not to get carried away by the chorus of the NDC that government is not prioritizing its projects. He claimed that it was hypocritical for the NDC to question the building of the cathedral when they had used over GHC12 million on just bus branding when they were in office.
