The minister for Inner City and Zongo Development, Mustapha Hamid has hit back at the leadership of the National Democratic Congress for portraying the party as an Ewe Party instead of a national one.
His criticism comes on the back of the call by the Director of Elections for the NDC, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, on Ewes to come to the rescue of the NDC.
According to Mustapha Hamid, the call was a shameful one and paints a picture of the NDC being a tribalistic party.
Mr. Hamid in an address to the press which was monitored by Wontumionline.com stated that the call by the NDC is baseless; knowing very well that they have lost the 2020 elections.
“You are calling Voltarians and speaking ewes to them. Are you an ewe Party or a national party?” He quizzed.
