Irbard Ibrahim Hails Gov’t For Augmenting Security Staff

Security Expert, Alhaji Irbad Ibrahim has lavished praises on the government for recruiting more people to augment the security agencies.

According to him, the total figure of 7,000 Ghanaians to be recruited in the Immigration and Police Services is an impressive figure.

Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show on Friday, Alhaji Irbad Ibrahim told Oheneba Nana Asiedu that the government is not sleeping on the security challenges.

He noted, those who will get the opportunity to be recruited would be trained before being deployed to the various areas.

Irbad Ibrahim tasked the politicians to help get the right persons to be recruited.

“Some of the youth seek for the support of the politicians to help them to be recruited because of the salary they will receive but will not have the zeal and passion for the job,” he said.

He was emphatic that the recruitment should be ceremonial.

He explained that there should be specialized persons in the communities to take note of people who have the potential to be recruited.
