Intensify Patrols Around Markets, State Installations Ahead Of Polls — Francis Adomako.
The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Adomako is alerting the Police and other security agencies to be on the look out for persons who have been paid to make the region unstable ahead of Monday’s general elections.
Speaking to this reporter last night, the NPP executive said signals picked up by his outfit shows a plot to make the Ashanti Region volatile ahead of the polls on December 7th.
He noted that markets, pubs as well as state installation have been targeted in the plot of arson and other burnings across the city.
Mr Adomako therefore asked the public to be on the look out for persons with dubious looks and character.
ALERT:
The regional organiser asked heads of churches, mosques and owners of public places to intensify security at their installations.
He said the plot, as made known to his outfit can be carried out anywhere the miscreants find fertile.
No public place should be left unattended to by the security, Mr Adomako stressed.
He urged the Police and the other security agencies to carry out periodic swoops from now till the end of Christmas.
CONFIDENCE:
The NPP regional executive said the NPP would win the upcoming general election.
He said the party would retain both the presidency as well as majority of seats in Parliament.
The party, Mr Adomako intimated had worked so hard to ensure its retention in government.
He urged the electorate to set out early to their respective polling stations and cast their ballots and return home to back it up with victory prayer.
