Instead Of Explaining 24hrs Economy, You Are Talking About Okada Riding- Lawyer Maurice Ampaw

Instead of taking the pain the to explain the meaning of his 24 hour economy policy to Ghanaians, Mr. Mahama according to Maurice Ampaw, has deliberately shifted course and interacting with okada riders who are peacefully going about their business without harassment from law enforcers.

The seasoned lawyer challenged the former President to explain his 24 hour economy policy since Ghanaian voters are still trying to solve the puzzle he has put before them.

“Okada riders haven’t called you to tell you they have problems and you assembly them to talk to them, it clearly shows that you don’t have a message. You can’t even explain the 24hour economy you put out”, he said on Wontumi TV.

In an address to okada riders at Ashaiman, said, former President Mahama said that “The good news is that I have spoken with two companies, they are going to open an assembling plant for electric motorbikes. That will be given out on hire purchase, work and pay, then you will pay in bits. Such motors don’t consume petrol, the battery will be charged down”.

He continued that “You will be asked to wear reflective jackets so that people will see you from far. Many motorbikers are thieves, so we will register all of you to sniff out the thieves.”
