The former Member of Parliament for Suhum Constituency, Hon. Fredrick Opare-Ansah has described Kennedy Agyapong as a loose cannon who can’t be credited with intellectual debates on the floor of Parliament despite being the august house for 20 years.
In a one-on-one interview with Mr. Isaac Oteng on the Ghana Nti Show which airs only on Wontumi Radio, Accra, Fredrick Opare-Ansah stated that in the entire political life Kennedy Agyapong, he is only heard speaking “loosely” on campaign platforms.
“He sat in parliament for 20 years, give me one statement he has made as MP apart from being on radio to insult and speak lousily on campaign platforms. Give me one time he has stood in parliament and made an intellectual debate…” he said.
On November 4th, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will organize its presidential primary to elect a flagbearer for the 2024 general election.
There has been a viral video of a man believed to be part of Kennedy Agyapong’s team who is threatening to harm any voter who votes for vice President Mahamudu Bawumia at Assin Central- the home region of Mr. Agyapong.
Reacting to the news, Hon. Fredrick Opare-Ansah labeled Kennedy Agyapong and his team members as cowards and promised to teach them a lesson if they don’t refrain from their evil plot.
“I will let him run from his own constituency if he hasn’t heard of me, he should check me out. I said I will be in Assin Central on November 4th and if he is man enough he should meet me there…” Hon. Opare-Ansah said.
