Reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards artiste of the year, KiDi has posted cryptic messages and videos in reaction to speculations about his health, which has put music lovers and listeners on edge.
After releasing a video and a statement a week earlier to assuage public worries about claims that he was down with stroke, KiDi has just posted another video that is already generating conversation about his health.
In a recent Twitter post, the Lynx Entertainment signee shared a video of himself singing along to a new song: “if I tell you say I’m okay, I lied, Everything I feel in my heart and my soul, Oh as you see me so, I’m smiling but I’m dead inside, Look into my eyes you see the pain in side, I don’t wanna chill, I wanna stay inside, whoa whoa whoa whoa, If I show you my liver, you go take me to prayer, Don’t wait till under 6 feet, I’m gone.”
The puzzling post has already sparked heated debates over what might be wrong with the singer of the smash song “Touch It.”
Although there isn’t enough information available regarding the song, a date on the video appears to indicate that it will be released on April 27, 2023.
Recall that KiDi born Dennis Nana Dwamena broke his silence in a Facebook post on Friday, April 14 on his nearly two-month absence, highlighting that he simply took a break from the music scene to concentrate on his health, fiercely disputing claims of being struck by stroke.
“A little under two months ago, I made the painful decision of cancelling my tour to take care of my health that included taking time off social media.
Unfortunately, a few bad actors took this as an opportunity to spread false stories that got a lot of you very concerned. While i do not want to give it any more attention, I want to categorically address that those stories were false,” he wrote.
KiDi also shared a video of himself giving his followers the assurance that he was in good health.
The Touch It hitmaker was expected to tour about 10 cities in the US, including Seattle, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago and Atlanta but called off the tour owing to health concerns.
While announcing his comeback and efforts to live up to the mark in the industry, he thanked his fans and family for sticking by him during the difficult times.
“In that time, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family, friends, fans, and the brands I work with. You all made me feel incredibly loved in this difficult period and i can’t appreciate you enough.
I am glad to be back to doing what I love most; creating music and performing for you. Thanks for sticking it out with me.”
