The Member of Parliament for Asawase, Muntaka Mohammed should thank his stars he wouldn’t be given an opportunity to vet the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako.
According to the NPP Chairman, he would have tamed the NDC legislator by revisiting his past and used it as a weapon against him.
The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi stated on Wontumi TV that Hon. Muntaka’s past where he brought shame upon himself by spending state money on ‘chinchinga’ to wit kebab, pampers and his girlfriend when he was on an official assignment would have been the issue he would brought up if the NDC MP tries to tough.
“If I was before the vetting committee and Muntaka tries to be tough, I would’ve talked about his ‘chinchinga’ and pampers issue. I would have deliberately asked him that question to get at him. I will play that game just like Tsatsu Tsikata does at the Supreme court where he deliberately does things the judges haven’t asked him to do”, Chairman Wontumi said.
