I Would Lead A Revolution Against NPP If Alan Is Given A Second Amnesty- NPP Chairman
Chairman Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang is threatening to lead a revolution against the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) if Alan Kyeremanten is awarded a second amnesty to return to the party.
“I swear I don’t think he would come. If the party agrees to accept him, we would mobilize our forces and fight against the party”, the former New Juaben North Constituency Chairman vowed.
In a studio discussion on Movement TV, Chairman Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang insisted that after Alan broke away from the NPP to form Movement for Change, he can’t be “granted amnesty twice”
“If the party receives Alan back, we would demonstrate against NPP leadership”, he cautioned.
The idea of granting amnesty to Alan was trumpeted by Kennedy Agyapong when he recently said that the unity the NPP is currently seeking will only be achieved if the party grants amnesty to Alan Kyerematen and Paul Afoko.
But Chairman Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang insists that Alan has crossed the carpet twice and there is no need to pamper him by granting him amnesty.
“What is amnesty, do we issue it twice? If you are the thief and a president pardons you for the first time, would you go and commit the same crime and expect another president to come and grant you another amnesty?” he queried.
He described Alan as an ingrate who doesn’t value human relationships.
“You are the first person in this country who received his appointment from Akufo-Addo before we won the 2016 election. Alan hasn’t performed than most of us…He is an ingrate”, he said.
