I Won’t Seek Revenge Against NDC When NPP Comes To Power- Chairman Wontumi Tells Hon. George Oduro
Despite what the Mahama-led government has subjected him to, Chairman Wontumi has told Hon. George Oduro in secret that he won’t seek revenge when power changes hands.
Hon. George Oduro, a former legislator of New Edubease, has put on record that the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has told him in private that he wouldn’t retaliate or go after people who are using political power to harass him in the future.
In an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV, Hon. Oduro stated that Mr. Bernard Antiw-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi “isn’t planning to retaliate against the NDC when the NPP gets power”.
According to him Chairman Wontumi loves to forgive people who have offended him and doesn’t take pride in revenge.
“There were people he has helped in the NPP who turned their back on him during the party’s executive elections but he didn’t pay them back”, he said.
Chairman Wontumi was recently released from the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) after meeting his bail conditions.
Wontumi had been granted bail of GH₵50 million with two sureties to be justified following his arrest on May 27.
