Deputy General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, has disclosed that he is no longer interested in retaining his position in the party but wants to lead the charge the organise men who would be ‘whipping’ notorious boys from John Mahama’s camp.
In an interview on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline, the NPP deputy scribe stated that the posture of Mr. John Mahama to incite his followers to foment trouble in the country is the main reason he wants to organise his men to respond in equal measure.
“Take me for my word, I have my followers who would respond with equal measure should Mahama continue to preach do or die. I won’t incite others for lawlessness to take place, but the NDC can’t intimidate the NPP”, Nana Obiri Boahen said.
To show how serious he is, he continued that “I won’t contest as deputy General Secretary even if the party wants me to. The NDC can’t bully or intimidate us.”
