NPP Parliamentary candidate for Sefwi Wiawso, Festus Bumakama Agyapong, has disclosed his intentions of buying a degrader for the constituency, using the MP’s car loan if elected.
According to him, it would be very unfair for him to be cruising in a V8 vehicle when farmers in the constituency are unable to transport their harvest from their farms to the markets due to bad roads.
“Our roads are deplorable. When I become the next MP, I will ensure that we get a constituency grader that will ensure that although we don’t have tarred roads, the roads will be motorable for commuters to ply”,. he spoke on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.
He promised to ensure the constituency gets a cocoa processing factory too.
“If I become the next MP too, I will ensure that we get a cocos process factory in sehwi. It’s an error that although cocoa is heavily harvested in Sehwi, there’s no processing factory. I will lobby and ensure that if I become the next MP, we get a factory”, he added.
