I Wasn’t Surprised Because I Worked Hard- Kate Gyamfua On Her Victory

The elected National women’s organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) at the just ended annual Delegates conference, Madam Kate Gyamfua, has stated that her victory is something she had anticipated.

Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV, Madam Gyamfua said “I knew I would win massively because I had worked hard for it and therefore it’s something I had anticipated. I wasn’t taken by surprise at all; I knew I would win with such a wide margin and I’m grateful to the women for fulfilling their promise”.

Out of the Six hundred and sixty one(661) votes cast, Madam Kate Gyamfua polled Six hundred and Twenty(620) votes.

Speaking on the organization of the elections, she noted that “there’s no way one could organize a program and have it 100% successful. However, the election was well organized, free and fair apart from the injunction that barred TESCON from voting.

She expressed her profound gratitude to all who voted for her; all female delegates from Ministers, Member of Parliament’s (MPs), Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCE’s), constituency women organizers for showering her with love.

She pledged her unflinching support to ensure the party’s goal of breaking the eight becomes successful.
