Municipal Chief Executive of Amasaman, Honorable Clement Wilkinson, has given clarity about his opinion he shared regarding the theft of Cecelia Dapaah’s gigantic sums of money.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning show, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Hon Wilkinson gave clarity on his utterance he made on UTV which he claims has been highly misinterpreted by the public.
According to him he was not insistent that the thousands of dollars stolen from the former Minister of sanitation, Honorable Cecelia Dapaah was from funeral donations but rather, had a possibility due to the amount of money donated by sympathizers during the funeral of her late mother and sister.
He asserted that ”no one agrees that the money being hoarded at home was good but as to where she got the money, you and I are not in the known. Hence, it was simply an opinion I shared that it could be that part of the money was from funeral donations so it’s not the faults of those insulting me, they just didn’t get the understanding. People donated money, because I was present at the funeral and we saw the caliber of people who came to donate and not all were announced.”
