I Have Not Received Bribe To Step Down From KMA Contest- Kusi Boafo
Former Chief Executive Officer of Public Sector Reforms, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo, has flatly refuted claims that, he has received bribe from the incumbent KMA Boss, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi, through Kennedy Agyapong to resign from the KMA position contest.
According to him, he has never received money from Kennedy Agyapong adding that for the past one and half years, he has not met Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio and TV’s flagship programme called the Privilege, Mr. Kusi Boafo recalled, “I have asked God to kill me if I ever take bribe or I will serve gods if I take bribe.”
According to the former Public Sector Reforms CEO, Hon. Osei Assibey has set up a media team to make him unpopular.
“Osei Assibey has formed a media team and inciting them to say that, if Kusi Boafo is given the opportunity to head the KMA, he will not give money to the press,” he said.
He insinuated that, the NPP is dear to his heart that made him to file for the KMA Mayor position to restore the party’s confidence in the Ashanti Region.
He reiterated that, if the NPP will recapture power in the 2024 elections, it lies on the onus of the new government appointees.
