I Have A Dream…. ”NPP’s Haul Of Total Votes Cast In Election 2020 Is 60%” – Chairman Wontumi Reveals
Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako a.k.a. Chairman Wontumi, has recounted a dream he had last Wednesday night in which the ruling party amassed 60% of the total votes cast in the December election.
Chairman Wontumi who claimed his dreams are most of the time fulfilled said the fortunes of the opposition NDC was also revealed to him.
“The NDC had 30% of the votes cast while the remaining 10% went to the smaller parties. My dreams always prove positive and I am convinced that the NPP will give the NDC a beating which they will never forget.”He disclosed.
Chairman Wontumi who was speaking live on Wontumi TV/Radio on Friday said even though NPP’s victory has been revealed to him in the dream the real situation on the ground provides enough proof of who will be crowned victorious in the 2020 elections.’
“Enough has been done and most Ghanaians are appreciative of what the NPP, under Nana Addo, has done to improve their lives in all sectors of the economy.”
Chairman Wontumi who presented a tall list of achievements of the NPP under Nana said virtually, a whole day would not even be enough to tell the full story.
“There will still be serious gaps in discussing the impact of the NPP’s achievements on the lives of especially, ordinary people, if a whole day is set aside to tell the success story”.
He singled out the Free Senior High School (SHS) Programmme which he said has its own peculiar dynamics as well as the Planting For Food and Jobs (PF&J,) initiatives which are two strong pillars of the NPP’s astonishing social intervention policies.
Chairman Wontumi commended party members who are active on the field campaigning for the NPP to win the December elections hands down. He however, singled out party members at Fomena and Manso Edubia led by their Parliamentary candidates.
“They have gone a step further by spending sleepless nights to convince the electorate of the urgent need to stick to the agenda set to win the 2020 elections.” He noted.
The main thrust of the ruling party’s aggressive field campaign strategy set at the highest level which has a direct grass root impact. It involves the commissioning of completed projects and the sod-cutting of fresh ones supported by an unprecedented interactive engagement between party members and households in what is commonly referred to as “house to house campaign.”
Alongside the official sod-cutting and commissioning by either the President or his Vice to bolster the chances of the NPP to retain power, is the trailblazer, Wontumi Communications daily exposure given to the numerous NPP’s achievements, (District by District) using its powerful and extensive on-air and on-line platforms especially, the TV.
