Economist, Dr George Domfeh says he expected President Akufo-Addo to hit on the Majority and Minority lawmakers demanding the dismissal of Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
But the President didn’t in his address to the Nation on the Economy on Sunday.
According to the President of Youth Against Insult, it was a trending issue last week and he anticipated Akufo-Addo to touch on it.
Speaking to Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show, he said the sacking of the Finance Minister won’t solve the economic crisis.
He said, the problem will persist if Akufo-Addo fires Ofori-Atta and bring a new face.
Dr Domfeh revealed that Ghana’s problem is structural challenges
“We should find a solution to our import. I’m happy he said we will improve on our export,” he said.
