Popular Ghanaian Disc Jockey, DJ Mensah has revealed how much he charges to play at programs.
The popular DJ who happens to be Sarkodie’s personal DJ told Giovani Caleb on 3FM that he charges between $5,000 and $10,000 depending on the gig but he is considerate when it comes to weddings.
“Well I charge 5,000 to 10,000$ depending on the gig but I’m very considerate when it comes to weddings because I feel they are expensive to do but when it comes to the big stages, that’s a different story in a different ballgame”.
Born, Michael Mensah Ayenu DJ Mensah said when he started this profession over two decades ago, he did it out of passion but decided to commercialize it later when he probably saw how lucrative it could be.
“I started DJing in the year 1999, 22years ago. It was just a passion but I started getting gigs so I decided to officially make it a profession,” he said.
