Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, has responded sharply to former President John Dramani Mahama, dismissing his claims of inadvertent endorsements due to verbal slips.
Mahama had attempted to capitalize on the mistakes, implying that his political rivals were subconsciously endorsing him. However, Chairman Wontumi would have none of it, firing back with a scathing rebuke.
“Mahama, your corrupt legacy is an albatross around the neck of Ghanaian politics. Your name is synonymous with greed, corruption, and gross mismanagement. The Airbus scandal, the ford vehicle debacle, and countless other instances of unbridled corruption define your tenure. I’d rather die than endorse a corrupt, self-serving individual like you”, Wontumi fired back.
“I’m for Bawumia, a man of integrity and vision, not a corrupt, power-hungry individual like Mahama”, he added.
