First vice Chairman for Dome Kwabenya constituency, Paul Opoku, has described the news circulating pertaining to Adjoa Safo’s recontesting for Dome Kwabenya seat as Peddled falsehood.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Movement show, on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio, Paul Opoku noted that information about Honorable Sarah Adjoa Safo’s intention of vying again for the position as the Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya constituency should be disregarded.
According to him they are rumors and should be considered as such.
” Dome Kwabenya is fine but it is our MP who failed to work hard that has come out to say the people of Kwabenya claim she should recontest, and due to that we have come under the criticisms of Ghanaians. The hardships which has led Ghana to going to IMF with some being attributed to the absence of the MP, are you saying the people of Dome Kwabenya went to beg her to come and contest again?. I deem it as rumors because it can’t be true, and I can assure Ghanaians that it is peddled falsehood so they should stop bashing us,” he said.
