The founder of Atta-Mills Institute and one time Director of Communication at the Presidency, Mr. Koku Anyidoho has described former President John Mahama to be an insincere politician who shouldn’t be trusted on his pledge to scrap ex-gratia.
According to Mr. Anyidoho, unlike the former President who was always quick and continues to take salaries and ex-gratia from the state, former finance minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor never took home any of the above.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, the founder of Atta-Mills Institute made it clear that he is very concerned about who leads the National Democratic Congress (NDC) into the 2024 elections stating that Dr. Duffuor is best fit to hold the mantle.
“I sat in cabinet meetings for 4 years and Dr. Duffour did not take home salary and ex-gratia as finance minister. But Mahama took his and has now filled his tummy so is now claiming he wants to scrap it.”
“I don’t trust him, I trust Dr. Duffuor”, he said.
He also charged electorates never to trust Mr. Mahama if he claims he is new person and has learnt lessons in life.
“He claims he is a new person but has he apologized to Ghanaians about the specific things that he did wrong? When he does that we can believe him to be a sincere person”, he said.
