Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has declared his openness to advice as he campaigns for the position of National Chairman ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Speaking to party supporters, Chairman Wontumi emphasized that he values the views of members across all levels of the party and is prepared to act on constructive suggestions that will strengthen the NPP.
“I am always open to advice. If there are ideas and suggestions that will move the NPP forward, I am ready to listen and implement them for the good of the party,” he stated.
As the NPP prepares for the next electoral cycle after transitioning into opposition, Wontumi pledged his full commitment to helping the party regain power in 2028.
“This is not the time for division. It is time for unity and hard work. I am fully committed to supporting the NPP to come back to power in 2028,” he said.
Reflecting on the party’s current position, he noted that the period in opposition has provided valuable lessons.
“We have learned a lot from this challenging period. These lessons will guide us as we reorganize and strengthen our structures for victory,” he added.
