Nicholas Omane Acheampong has fired by at members of the National Democratic Congress for calling him “gay”.
The popular Ghanaian musician refuted the claim stating emphatically that he is a straight person who has even lost count of the number of children he has fathered.
“I have heard them calling me gay but I have a lot of children and I have lost count of them”, he said on the Wontumi Morning Show.
In a studio interview on the TV station challenged members of the NDC to put in serious efforts to match the sharpness of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who is campaigning better than John Dramani Mahama.
“They claim that Omane Acheampong is gay. Fair enough, if I am gay I have heard you but I am not contesting an election- it is rather the competent one Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who has been blessed by God. We won’t sit down for a dead goat- these are some of the uncouth statements by a former President (Mahama). I haven’t contested an assemblyman election before but I won’t use words such as I am dead goat”, he said.
