President Akufo-Addo has stated that it is his wish and prayer that he hands over the baton of government to the next NPP Presidential candidate at the Black Star Square on 7th January 2025.
President Akufo-Addo drummed home that the fact that the NDC can’t even think about a policy clearly shows that the 2024 election, is for the NPP to lose.
Speaking at the NPP’s National Annual Delegates Conference, President Akufo-Addo rhetorically asked that “I want you to ask yourself one question, what is the one policy that the NDC and their leader, John Mahama has taught about in these 5 years in opposition.”
President Akufo-Addo disclosed that he is highly amused that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) together with their 2020 flagbearer, John Mahama, has failed to produce or proposed just a single idea despite being in opposition for 5 years.
President Akufo-Addo wondered if the NDC has managed to develop an idea that can bring progress to Ghana just like Free SHS, 1D1F, Planting for Food and Jobs etc has worked out.
“Somebody should give me one idea that has emerged from the NDC in these 5 years that would bring about progress. The answer is zero, zero and zero not a single idea”, President Akufo-Addo said.
