A popular and respected voice in Ghana’s media space, Gordon Asare Bediako, has advised the mother of Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson, to reveal to her who her father is in order to give her peace.

Expressing his view on Movement In The Morning show, which airs on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Gordon called on the people surrounding Yvonne Nelson’s mother to advice her to restore the peace and love her daughter lacks by disclosing the identity of her father.

”Sarkodie is someone I like very much, someone who has been able to sustain his standard for about 10 years he has done well. Yvonne Nelson is also someone I liked during her acting days, if I tell you I’m happy with the issue circulating I’ll be a liar.

Yvonne Nelson has no joy in her world, and the reason for that is due to the fact she’s does not know her father. Her mother lied to her about her father but God being so good she is still alive, so we will plead with her church members to advice her to tell Yvonne who her father is, so she can have some peace, he said.”

Furthermore Gordon addressed the kerfuffle between Sarkodie and Yvonne Nelson, by stating that there is no wrong in Sarkodie’s response to allegations levelled against him in Yvonne Nelson memoir titled ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’.

He asserted that ”regarding Sarkodie’s issue, at least we are glad he did not rape her otherwise it would have been a criminal case. Yvonne has written whatever she likes, and many people were against the critics of the book, how she wants to write or narrate her story is her choice so allow her.

Sarkodie whose name popped up is also a musician and decided to respond through music, now you’re angry.”

Dawuro, who chairs the show added that ”the most painful part is that when Yvonne Nelson tarnished Sarkodie in her book, there was no gender activist to speak against it, but immediately Sarkodie replied, we’ve had people call him out.”
