The Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore, Hon. Dr. Ayew Afriyie, has blasted the minority in Parliament for using their numbers in the house to engage in “stupid” things.
The Effiduase-Asokore MP in an interview on Wontumi TV which was keenly monitored by Wontumionline, stated that the hung parliament situation is enabling the minority- mainly NDC members to do damning things.

“NDC have had numerical strength in Parliament and they are using it for stupid things”, he said and he discussed the hullabaloo that surrounded the 2022 budget.
He went on to confess that “the hung parliament is worrying NPP, and people in the party should put a stop to skirt and blouse voting”.
In his view, this isn’t the time to lose power and handover to the NDC noting that President Nana Akufo-Addo must finish his tenure and handover to Vice President Bawumia.
