A communicator of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Kay, says human authorities cannot solve our security issues in the country rather cameras will.
Adding his voice to the current security threat and the extent of corruption in the country on Movement In The Morning Political Show, he said,”I have always said that human face cannot save us, cameras are the best solution. When the camera detects a person committing a crime there will be one available to delete the evidence. The institution that is supposed to fight corruption is rather corrupt’’.
“Some bosses expect money when they send the young ones out for operations so instead of going to ensure the right thing is done, they go to guarantee the wrongs done. Having cameras at vantage points will be of great help to the government and citizens. When you visit other countries, you can leave your phone at a certain spot and come back for it because anyone who picks it up will have a problem. The camera switches from one to the other and it can track where you even slept, and by the time you realize the police have caught up with you’’, he added.
He indicated that the stage we have gotten to demands cameras at every point to help fight corruption and the security threat.
‘’Even the recent trending flood videos were captured by the cameras’’, he stated.
He applauded President Akufo- Addo for introducing cameras at the various intersections on our streets in his quest to fight injustice and corruption.
