One thing that distinguishes Hon. Kennedy Agyapong from ex-President John Mahama is that the former has built a factory that has enough raw materials to feed it till eternity unlike the later who built a factory without thinking through to see where the raw materials would come from, Lawyer Kweku Amoh Darteh has outlined.
Lawyer Kweku Amoh Darteh a member of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign team, stated on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com that the NPP flagbearer hopeful, has built a starch plant in Ghana and didn’t want to it to turn into a white elephant so bought acres of land to produce the raw materials.
According to him, unlike former President John Mahama who built the Komenda Sugar factory without the available raw materials, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s starch factory has its primary source to fetch the raw materials.
“He has built a starch plant and has acres of cassava farms to feed the plant. The one Mahama built has become a white elephant because he didn’t have the vision to grow the raw materials before setting up the Komeda sugar factory”, he said.
