Most members of the National Democratic Congress didn’t take their school lessons serious and it has affected their way of understanding issues, Dr. Kyei Danso, a member of the New Patriotic Party has expressed with worry.
Prior to Mr. Mahama’s petition to the Supreme Court over claims of a flawed election, a video of some NDC members in jubilant mood was widely circulated where they were seen rejoicing over the 47% declared by the Electoral Commission for their candidate.
It is on the above premise that Dr. Kyei Danso appealed to NDC members to return to the classrooms to learn in order to get education in basic mathematics.
“NDC members need to go back to school. I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing them jubilating over 47% as declared by EC. They don’t even know the difference between 53% and 47%”, Dr. Danso said.
Ghana’s incumbent President Nana Akufo-Addo was declared winner of the 2020 presidential election by the Electoral Commission.
President Akufo-Addo polled 51.59 per cent as against main opposition candidate John Mahama’s 47.36 per cent of votes.
