Hon. Simon Osei Mensah Inspects Ongoing Hospital Projects In Ashanti Region
Ashanti Regional Minister-Designate, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, has embarked on a two-day tour to inspect some ongoing Hospital projects in the Region.
He inspected the Konongo Municipal hospital project, Kumawu hospital project, and the Afari Military hospital on day one.
Speaking to the media monitored by Nana Owusu Achiaw, the Ashanti Regional Minister-Designate said that, he is esctatic about the progress of work on the Konongo Municipal hospital project.
But Hon. Simon Osei Mensah indicated that he is worried about lack of access road to the hospital.
He vowed that he will see to it that the problem of the access road to the Konongo Municipal hospital is solved after his vetting on Tuesday.
On the Kumawu Hospital Project
Hon. Simon Osei Mensah noted that, the main contractor is not on site but the contractor fixing the drainage system and the landscaping are on site.
According to the Regional Minister Designate, there has been significant improvement on the Kumawu hospital project.
“Contractor would be on site by the next three months and hopefully the hospital would be completed in a year time.” He said
Afari Military Hospital
Hon. Simon Osei Mensah said that, the Afari Military hospital project has been stalled and he is not happy with that.
According to him, the contractors have assured him of completing the project in March but the Hon. Minister said that per the work done so far, the hospital can be completed by the end of June.
