Gye Nyame! Jane Must Be Protected From What Happened To Atta Mills And Amissah-Arthur-Ellen Daaku

A member of the New Patriot Party’s (NPP’s) Communications Team, Ellen Daaku, has vowed to resist any attempt by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to repeat the tragedy that befell the late Prof Mills and Amissah-Arthur on Prof Naana Opoku-Agyemang.

“Any plot against grandma won’t work; she must receive her treatment and return to the country alive. She must continue her job as vice President… Gye Nyame! grandma has to enjoy her position as vice President”, she said.

Speaking on the Movement in the Morning Political Show, the NPP communicator stated that it has become necessary to raise such awareness because mysterious history surrounding the death of leaders in the NDC.

“This has become necessary because John Mahama and his government have a history where the person who was his boss got ill and returned to the country only to die. The person who became his (Mahama’s) vice also died 6 months after the party went into opposition. So we must ask questions”, she narrated.

Ellen mentioned that Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has made history in Ghana as the first female vice President and for that reason, must be protected.

Last Friday, the NDC through Felix Ofosu Kwakye released a statement where they informed Ghanaians that Prof. Opoku-Agyemang has been flown out of the country because she is sick.

But Ellen Daaku believes it is almost a week since Ghanaians received any form of update on her health.

“On Friday, the NDC told us she is not feeling well but it is almost a week old and we haven’t received any form of update. President Mahama, how is Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang feeling? My own grandma, how is she feeling after taking her abroad to receive treatment?” she queried.
