Guinea Uprising: Security Analyst Charges ECOWAS To Strengthen Political Stability
A connoisseur in Security, Alhaji Irbad Ibrahim has tasked the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), to strengthen the political stability among West African countries following the rampant coup d’etats.
In an interview on “The Privilege” Morning Show on Wontumi Radio, he said, ECOWAS should look at the causes of the uprising and its deficiencies.
“If we don’t find an antidote to the coups, a president will not even finish his first term and soldiers will overthrow him,” the Security Expert told Oheneba Nana Asiedu.
According to Irbad, since Akufo-Addo became the ECOWAS chairperson, he has helped Anglophone West African countries to be politically stable.
But the Security Analyst was quick to say that, the problem of revolution is the Francophone West African countries.
